Pontiac had a great thing going with their Safari series station wagon, going as far as to declare it ‘America’s Number 1 Road Car’ in this vintage ad from the late 1950s. These classy cruisers were imbued with Star Flight styling and few haulers have come close to being as attractive. It makes total sense – if you have to move a ton of stuff, why not look good while doing it?
